Megan Magill is an artist whose studio practice embraces drawing, printmaking, and photography as stepping stones and conspirators to her whimsical paintings. Through a process that involves found imagery, improvised methods and a reliance on chance her work pays homage to all that is strange and wonderful in our lives. Magill has shown throughout the US and splits time between studios in Brooksville, Maine and Chicago.

I am interested in moments of connection and exploring the space and energy within these moments as that is where the mystery is for me. I’m here thinking one thing, and you’re thinking another and how does that show up in what’s happening around us.
